Located in Port Ludlow, Washington, on the scenic Puget Sound, Herbalix Restoratives was founded in 1999 by retired neurosurgeon David Maline, MD, who specialized in spinal and intra-cranial surgery. He developed an interest in the relationship between healing, the skin and electromagnetic fields of the body. He then formed the company that later came to be known as Herbalix Restoratives, LLC where he worked until his death in 2002. Vice president and co-founding partner, Michael Fessler worked closely with Dr. Maline for more than 20 years. Today, Herbalix is privately run by Michael and Elizabeth Fessler, president and chief operating officer, along with the Herbalix management team.
The company is a member of The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics – and has signed and is in compliance with the Compact for Safe Cosmetics, where companies have agreed to post a full list of product ingredients.
