Many preservatives are labeled “natural but may either be compromised, inefficient or require additional synthetic preservatives in order to be effective.  For example – DMDM hydantoin, formaldehyde, imidazolidinyl urea, methylchloroisothiazolinone, parabens, phenoxyethanol and Quaternium-15 are often added to many other preservative systems to help prevent the growth of bacteria and fungus caused by oxygen and moisture.

Additionally – Herbalix  Restoratives does not use germicide, potassium alum, aluminum salts anywhere in its preservative or products or any of our other ingredients.
